Professional Academic Support for Elective Home Education

At The Study Zone, we recognise that the Wirral’s home-education community deserves access to the same high-level expertise found in the classroom. Our Daytime Hubs provide a structured, professional environment where home-educated students can thrive under the guidance of an experienced teacher.

Direct Commissioned EOTAS & Alternative Provision

We provide bespoke, QTS-led educational support for pupils accessing or awaiting Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) provision. Delivered in a calm, low-arousal environment, our tailored 1-to-1 and nurture pod sessions are specifically designed to re-engage reluctant learners, rebuild academic confidence, and target key EHCP Section F outcomes. We work in direct partnership with schools, SENCOs, and local authorities across the region- delivering reliable daily attendance tracking, weekly progress reporting, and structured core curriculum learning.

Key Highlights:

  • Qualified Teaching: Delivered directly by a Lead Teacher with 12+ years of experience.

  • EHCP Aligned: Learning plans tailored specifically to meet Section F objectives and core literacy/numeracy goals.

  • Low-Arousal Space: A quiet, sensory-conscious environment ideal for pupils experiencing EBSA or anxiety.

  • Full School Integration: Daily 9:45 AM attendance alerts and weekly progress summaries sent directly to commissioning teams.

Why Choose Our Homeschool Hubs & AP Provision?

1. Expert-Led Curriculum Alignment & QTS Teaching

Navigating the National Curriculum alone can be daunting. All our sessions are led by fully qualified teachers (QTS, NPQSL), ensuring your child hits vital milestones in Mathematics and English while receiving structured, high-level academic support.

2. The Low-Arousal “Study Zone” Environment

Our dedicated commercial unit on Seaview Road is purpose-designed to be modern, professional, and low-arousal—reducing sensory triggers and social pressure. It provides students with a calm “professional headspace” free from the anxiety of a traditional 30-pupil classroom, fostering independence, self-esteem, and wellbeing.

3. Small-Group ‘Mastery Pods’ & Peer Collaboration

Home education and alternative learning don’t have to be solitary. Our small-group pods are strictly limited to a maximum of 6 students to guarantee personalised attention. This allows students to engage safely in peer-to-peer discussion, collaborative problem-solving, and positive social interaction within a supervised, supportive setting.
